This privacy policy will explain how our WomanUp Civic Association uses the personal information we collect from you when you use our website.

Personal data means all information relating to data subjects that identifies them or can identify a specific person. Such data can be name, surname, address or social security number, photos or camera footage.


What data do we collect?

WomanUp collects the following data:

  • Personal identification data (name, email address, phone number, etc.)

This data is stored in our internal databases.


How do we collect your data?

You provide the data we collect directly to WomanUp. 

We collect data and process it when:

  • subscribe to the WomanUp Newsletter 

  • volunteer to complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our discussion boards or via email


What is the purpose of personal data processing?

The main purpose of processing your personal data is the organization of events, workshops and other events, as well as internal communication with you (sending information about upcoming events and events, thank you notes, questionnaires and other information). WomanUp collects your data so that we can send you:

  • invitations to the latest events and workshops we organize and information about them 

  • a summary of our recent activities and news and a behind-the-scenes look at WomanUp

  • information about special offers, services or products that you might like


How do we process and store your data?

WomanUp stores your data securely. We process your personal data automatically through web forms, but also manually. We process personal data in a legal manner, with an emphasis on respecting your basic rights as a data subject. We emphasize adherence to the principles of integrity, confidentiality, responsibility and correctness. We collect personal data only for specific purposes and their scope is limited to the necessary purpose of processing. 


Who do we share your personal data with?

Your personal data is visible only to us, the civil association WomanUp. For the purposes of event preparation, they can be made available to verified associates of our organization, as long as it is necessary to fulfill their work duties. In the case of organizing workshops, discussions, events and other activities, your data may be listed on the attendance list and made available to co-organizers or representatives of other companies with whom we regularly or one-time cooperate. We do not publish or transfer your personal data to third countries without your consent.


What are your rights?

Upon request, you have the right to access your data, to information about the scope of their processing, to correct, change or delete them. You also have the right to limit their processing or to object to their processing and the right to data portability if this is technically possible. If you want to file a complaint about the way your personal data is processed, including exercising the above-mentioned rights, you can contact us. We will check all your suggestions and complaints.


How can you revoke consent to the processing of personal data?

Giving consent to the processing of personal data is always voluntary and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, in whole or in part. Consent can be revoked by written notice sent to the given e-mail address:
